Oh Baby! Time to shred!Any day at the Wolf is a great day, but when the storms come through with big dumps, Wolf Creek turns magical. Well, unless you have skinny straight skis imported directly from the 1980's via time machine. Then it just turns into work.
Transform your view of powder here at Ski and Bow Rack. Now, it is true that you probably don't need a pair of 125 underfoot 205cm long powder skis in your quiver. But shucks, rent a pair for a powder day to feel like your flying through heaven!
Or maybe you just have a need for speed and need to carve trenches down the groomers. Got your back there, too, because, let's face it, how many people can afford a gs racing ski in their quiver? About as many as have that 125 underfoot in their ski bag, too.
Whatever fashion your addiction takes, if it involves hurling yourself down the snowy mountainside, we can help.
Now, say you got a little anxious this year, and, after that first September snow you grabbed your skis, hiked up Lobo, and let 'er rip! Maybe you hit a couple things: a stump here, a rock there, a porcupine or two...you know, maybe beat 'em up a little. No worries. We got you covered.
Our ski techs are second to none when it comes to tuning. They may give you a curious eyebrow raise when you tell them about the porcupine, but they'll get right to work and have those puppies gleaming in no time.
"Shred? I shred cheese for tacos. What do I need to do to enjoy a day of skiing for the first time?"First things first, right? Don't walk before you crawl. That sort of thing.
Here's what you do: stop in the shop the afternoon before your trip. Get fitted with our performance package (with boots and skis specifically designed to help beginner skiers). Then take advantage of Wolf Creek's 1st Day Beginner Package (a lift ticket + 4 hours of professional instruction for about the same price as a lift ticket. It's a seriously killer deal). Then let us know if we need to change up anything for the next day! Easy as Taco Tuesday.
Rental Equipment Available at SKI AND BOW RACK
Includes poles when appropriate. (Mock light-saber fights are not considered appropriate, if you were curious.)
Boards and skis rented with boots unless stated otherwise. (That'd be pretty lame if we didn't.)
We do not have helmets for rent. (Because seriously! You don't want to rent a helmet. This is your HEAD we're talking about. No such thing as a brain transplant. Make sure it's protected with a helmet you know for sure hasn't been impacted--and therefore worthless. Not to mention head lice. *shudder*)
Three day rental rates are for consecutive days.
Rent four days and get the fifth day free!
